Interviews

Interviews are what engages your potential speaking engagement bookings. When someone is lookingfor a speaker they want to know how you you respond: are you spontaneous, humorous, easy to listen to, personable, engaging, etc.

You’ll want to set up several interviews prior to booking your first speaking engagement and it is as easy as making a phone call to a friend. In fact that is exactly how I got started.

One of my clients who became a good friend had a program where he sent out educational material to his database. So I asked him if he would mind interviewing me for one of his programs. Done deal!

Remember to have fun with the interviews and speak as though you’re talking with your best friend!

  1. Nice to be here, I am Chris Yee and I am now in Tokyo. I am all ready to attend a selection interview next Thursday for an English teachng post. This will be a first actual interview since graduation. Do wish me a fruitful attempt. And by the way, I hope someone has stumbled upon any site that is similar to this ESL teaching site. I do not want to spend money, appreciate if you let me have the link to any such free sites. Much appreciated.

Tell me about this “WordPress” all about? Is it hard to learn? Is it required to be knowledgable in computers to put together a blog? I would like to create a blog for my ESL language website. Can the functions be combined into a current website?
