Braveheart

I was asked to sign up for the Braveheart Rise event by Patient Awazi who had been to the event in the past. She told me about how supportive the group was and after talking with the event organizer’s husband Charlie, I believed it was a good call to attend.

Charlie promised the audience was perfect to enlist others who would be more likely to support my non profit event Ultimate Business University and they would interview me on their television show to highlight UBU.

Well, nothing could have been further from the truth but not all was lost. I focused on the attendees, but it wasn’t those who were in attendance for Braveheart but those who were there for the Crystal Skulls event.

They were open to talking with us on many levels, but the main difference was that they were open and looking to make connections.

When speaking to the attendees it was as much fun as I’ve ever had at an event. I met people from Norway, Sydney, Belize and all over the United States and Canada. It was obvious we were to have connections that go to beyond the normal sense of ordinary contacts.

At times, speaking with groups are not simply speaking engagements but lifelong relationships.

Always stay open to the possibilities.
