Most event planners will provide their audience with a Speaker Feedback form. It will typically include question such as:
- What did you like about the speaker’s presentation
- Would you want to hear more from this speaker
- What was the most valuable content you received from the speaker
It’s a great way to learn what your audience thinks about you. However, I would like to offer a word of caution . . . do not take negative comments to heart! There is always at least one person who wants to be at the front of the room, hasn’t figured out how to get there and resents anyone else for being up there or someone who is just having a bad day! So learn what you can from the feedback and throw out what doesn’t work for you!
I made up my own Speaker Feedback form just so I could add a couple of helpful resouces such as “Where would you recommend me to speak to other audiences?”
You may download the form here and since it’s in a Word.doc format, change it to your personal needs.
